Hoka One One
I was thrilled when HOKA One One approached me to participate in a promotional campaign for their new TenNine Hike shoe, specifically designed for trail running in the mountains. I was intrigued by the shoe’s extra-large heel, which, when understood, seemed perfectly suited for running steep descents. Excited about the opportunity, I began brainstorming shoot locations and ideas, deciding to focus on a dynamic shoot with lots of movement and excitement in the shots.
Joined by Sarah Rodgers, who helped me shoot the project, I headed to the steep scree slopes of Glamaig on the Isle of Skye. The challenging terrain provided the perfect backdrop for capturing exhilarating, dynamic, and performance-focused shots. The increased area of the heel on the shoe proved to be a game-changer, improving foot placement, grip, comfort, and giving me a huge confidence boost as I repeatedly sent it down the hill.
The resulting content captured the excitement and thrill of the activity whilst also demonstrating the TenNine’s clever design and technology.
