OPPO Find X3 Pro
OPPO Mobile UK gave me their latest and greatest handset to take out with me on my adventures – The OPPO Find X3 Pro. With four Cameras, 50MP sensors, 1 Billion Colour Range and a Pro Photo Mode this phone is definitely a bit of a beast when it comes to taking photos, and I had a great time testing it out in a variety of different conditions.
I started off with a trip to Cheddar Gorge, enjoying capturing the leading lines and curves of the road amongst the sheer valley walls. After this I headed north, tackling Snowdon via Crib Goch and getting a great sunset on the way down. North of the Scottish Border I had a brief stop to explore a forest near Crianlarich, as I really wanted to test out the phone’s capability to capture deep and rich colours in the damp woodland. The following day driving through the Cairngorms I was hit with the most magnificent rainbow I’ve ever seen, which was one of the best moments of the campaign – realising that the best camera you have is often the one closest to hand, and being able to capture this incredible moment so quickly and easily. The next stop was the famous pink house on Loch Glass, where I was searching for some colour pop in the landscape, and a nice contrast to the blue phone to photograph it against. The small island of Lunga in Treshnish Isles was next on a day trip to visit the puffins. I thought it would be good to test the phone out in a busier and more reactive shoot, trying to capture some of these cute birds as they built their nests and went fishing for lunch. The final stop was Neist Point on the Isle of Skye, where I went for a walk along the cliffs taking in some views and getting dive-bombed by the local seagulls – who thought I might be getting a little close to their nests.
